At this first part of the three-part course, Eoel will introduce the basics of shibari, also known as kinbaku. From the history of where it all began to the classic takate kote, also known as the box tie, we give participants a simple and relaxed introduction into the world of tight binding. Aimed at complete beginners with no previous knowledge, this course is an ideal starting point for anyone who wants to gain understanding of what it is all about.
Couples and pairs of all genders and orientations are welcome. Single participation is not possible. Consent is extremely important to us, so please make sure that all participants are on board with the content of the course.
